Inside the Freemasons

I hear many coppers are in......with a rank structure in the police and one in the masons.......is it not " uncomfortable" if a young cop needs to arrest a high ranking mason( if both are masons....?)you could hav a situation surely where the cop arrests the mason on a monday and sees him at the lodge that next night where he is referring to the same fella as his worshipful master( that must be pressure for the young cop to conduct a fair unvestigation?)or even if not in same lodge a handshake would indicate both are masons...

I know lots of Freemasons (I am one). I only know of four being in the police force, and three of them are retired. There could be more, but their occupation has never come up in conversation.

Lad I work with is a mason and he enjoys going on the piss up at the lodge. Asked if I was keen to join but it's not my cup of tea. Can quite happily get myself buckled without the need for a daft handshake. Each to their own though
