Had no idea it was back on. Popped on the telly this morning to have breakfast and there it was, all nicely recorded on a series link I set up eons ago. Good to see it still works. Really enjoyed that episode.

Great dialogue, great atmosphere and some excellent moments but overall just didn't quite work for me.

Also didn't help Shearsmith's character wasn't very likeable (are they ever?)

They never are but I can't not love shearsmith. He's class in The Witchfinder on BBC Iplayer if you haven't seen it yet.

Have to admit, I started the thread about it being bad and ended up enjoying it.

I really liked last night's episode of Inside No. 9. Quite moving plus the three main men back together again with added Diane Morgan.
