We do mate, especially with Stokes and Malan to come as you say losing wickets is the concern, completely fell apart on Tuesday after Roy went.
I think Malan is a good change since we don’t have root. Desperately needed that calmer player on Tuesday
Consistent is a very strange word for Roy and Bairstow. Think they’re anything but

My issue with Sam Curran is there's no way he can bowl at the death. If he's going to bowl with the new ball and a bit in the middle - fine.

His List A batting record is awful. So he's not even an all-rounder. He's a bowler who can do a limited role who bats a bit.

Tom Curran on the other hand is someone who can't reliably bowl at any time and clubs a few runs. Anyway this is basically a second string bowling lineup, aside from Rashid and possibly Topley in the future.

Anyway Woakes, Archer, Rashid, Wood & Topley with Root/Stokes as backup would totally different league to this bowling 'attack'. You're not going to regularly hit 110-120 off the last 10 against that.
