Mark NIcholas said Stokes played a fine innings, he got 50 runs that doesn't win you test matchesWorst day of the tour from England for me, pitch blameless, too many batsman getting out to straight balls (Sibley, Stokes, Bess, Leach) or getting themselves out (Crawley, Lawrence).
Knowing that Stokes has dehli belly gives him a little leeway for losing concentraton, just annoyed that we should have got 350 minimum (though im expecting India to go a little past this mark).Mark NIcholas said Stokes played a fine innings, he got 50 runs that doesn't win you test matches![]()

Yes Jennings not being there is the difference between the sides and the reason we can’t f***ing bat
Link where I said that please.I thought you said scoring 100s in Asia was no big deal?
And that anyone could do it?
England seem mentally fried to me, they were not at it today.Just finished with the highlights and I can only express my disappointment with the happenings so far. Too many batsmen out to poor shots and, to begin with, an inexplicable team selection. Bess had to return, but we can't regard Stokes as the second seamer. I would have picked Woakes (who actually plays spin pretty well).
I expect India to get at least 350 on this wicket.

(you won’t find it cos I didn’t, you donut)
I said we may as well call up Haseeb Hameed as bring back Jennings for all the good it’ll do.
It's a fair point like, wait and see what India do tomorrow. But I think England underperformed today.Stokes said it was one of toughest pitches to bat

Hameed made 82 with a broken hand. He averages 43 in India. Jennings averages 41.why? Haseeb didnt score any 100s
pick players for the conditions
When I aske dyou about that you started going o about Jennings record in England like it had any sort of relevance
this tour more than anything showed we needed good players of spin, we had no chance with 4 or 5 lads in their early 20s who had never toured here

I said his Test record isn’t good enough and he’s had all the chances he’s likely to get, barring him scoring a load of runs in the CC in the next year or two.
He averages 25 in Tests. It’s not enough and IMO he is in a category with Ballance, Lyth, Stoneman etc etc as good county batsmen but not up to it at the highest level.
You took exception with that and went off on one which you are liable to do.
If you think Jennings would have made all the difference on this tour I’m not sure what more I can say to you tbh other than agree to disagree
It’s really not that difficult to follow what I’m saying but it seems it’s beyond you. I’m out.mate you've done it again
read back what you just posted
what has any of that got to do with anything
what has scoring runs in the CC in the next year or 2 got to do with playing on turning wickets in Asia?
I've literally no idea what you are talking about
Lyth and Stoneman?wtf? what have they got to do with it?
You've just proved my point 100% thanks for that, literally baffled you've just posted that.

I know that all that man.Why we mentioning somebody’s record years and years ago when he is shit now.
Hameed is clearly rubbish now.
Both Jennings and Hameed should be no why near discussion for selection they both a million miles away from test cricketers whatever their record was 4 years ago or whatever it was.
That’s a massive amount time to lose form which they both clearly have.
