Let's be honest, the no shot ruling is an absolute shocker. There's absolutely no one who understands cricket who would believe that was correct. So therefore it deserves some serious proper scrutiny, and we arent getting it. The only reason I can think of is that they are scared or simply cant be arsed with an onslaught of vocal Indian knackers on twitter bombarding them with shit. And that's not good enough, in fact it's pathetic.

The Indian comms were actually more critical than Nick Knight, he was absolutely pathetic trying to defend it

I’m delighted the coverage is back on channel 4 but it’s been very, very average so far. Mitigating factor is the late notice to properly prepare but it’s been so basic and lacking in analysis and discussion.

A quick fire review of the dismissals of the day and some inane questions doesn’t cut the mustard in sports broadcasting nowadays. The difference between Sky and channel 4 has been absolutely huge

To be honest the no shot one is by far the worst of the 3. It’s whether you believe that in this test match England have simply been on the wrong end of 3 bad decisions or you think it’s deeper than that. I’ve seen stumpings on the line go either way and there are hundreds of examples of Drs fuck ups if you can be arsed to look. Today’s was harder to explain away though.

Channel 4 are never going to have the same resources as Sky when it comes to coverage.
Sky can dedicate an entire channel to it....channel 4 will never have that luxury.

Well I was expecting a bit better when I woke up

I have enjoyed it so far, can’t compare the two at all.
