India v England series

Was Melbourne not the one where he got bowled batting a foot outside leg stump? I don’t remember many dismissals but have a picture in my mind of that one.

I happened to be at the WACA for that long on shot. He hit a six the ball before to the same shot off Lyon and remember thinking ‘what are you doing you prick’.

Getting a bit off topic but KP was infuriating!
Melbourne was him grafting whilst everyone else folded against Johnson, he ended up slogging out when left with bresnan.
Perth was annoying as Stokes played a great knock, but the rest just gave up.
In all honesty i think with hindsight the majority of the team were burned out from back to back ashes and the 1 day series, too much cricket

It is fair to say:

1) You would have Sibley sitting on his arse at home

2) You slag people off for running England down for doing no more than being critical of a player as you are with Burns.

No I wouldn’t, I’m one of his biggest supporters

Just Bore off will you like, ruining a good spirited thread with this shite.

They were poor but you give Pietersen some allowance as it got him runs too

That’s the difference with the burns shot!
It’s a different game when these 2 are bowling

Just been watching this over breakfast and was amazed at how different Sibley looked to the first test against SL. He was just sticking his pad out, but now getting his head right over the ball and using his feet. Test cricket is like an arms race, you're always adapting your technique as the bowlers find chinks in your armoury and the speed at which he adapts is amazing.

Putting Dan Lawrence in at three looks a huge mistake. At risk of destroying a young player's confidence just so Joe can bat four

First point spot on, he just finds a way

2nd point I can’t agree mate

Just made 200 n 180 batting 4, his record is at least ten runs higher

The real issue is jonny bairstow walking his dog at home!

There's nothing good spirited with you slagging off Burns like tbf especially with the worst shot in the history of cricket hyperbole stuff. Also you are lying. You were mocking the selection of Sibley in India 'who cant play spin' while the likes of Bairstow was sitting at home. At least admit your mistakes as most people had those doubts. That's what the best posters do. What would have been a good posters answer was 'yes I did have my doubts about his selection but he has worked brilliantly at his game - fair play.'
