See all I ever see with Sibley, is he needs to up his scoring slightly. And he's done that in the past few overs. Burns is always prone to a stupid shot, he loves a stupid shot, so I don't think Burns is the answer.

I’ll raise you with Pietersen caught long on at the WACA in 2013 when battling for a draw (‘it’s the way I play’). That ended his career imo.

Although I agree with the majority of that he is a shoe in for the team with the current other options and was playing very very well up until that brain freeze

I think they will play 1 of burns n sibley in Oz

just my instinct

the reality is for the type of batsman he’s meant to be, he just doesn’t bat long enough, he constantly gets out to loose shots

they won in South Africa without them

Its funny how you have a pop at others for not backing our players when you were practically mocking Sibley's ability to play spin - shouldn't go to India and now its Burns turn. Good player Burns and England's openers are pretty decent.

I’m one of sibley’s biggest supporters mate

he’s a much better player than Burns
