Looked like he just wanted the innings over so thought he'd wallop it in the air, I don't think he actually expected it to fall into the space with no fielder. Good to see him going for it though, every run was vital at the end there, I just hope he can have a good impact with the ball now.

I think he should have played safe and let Swann go for it. Very weak showing from the tail today.
 
Excellent stuff, apart from the comedy tail. I reckon they've done well enough that the amount that should be dropped could go as low as four.
 
Tendulkar wil he quit after this tour or will he go for 200 tests?

That was close like, Monty really is getting that ball to move.
