It really is a tiny majority these days surely?English football has always had a huge Nationalist problem. There is a deep, long standing racist undercurrent within the support of the England football team, that simply isn't there with the cricket side.
I know, for example, if I was sitting next to someone being racist or xenophobic at cricket, there would be people falling over themselves to shut the twat up - whereas, having been to a few England football internationals, I feel that people would be more inclined to join in than to put a stop to it.
With that in mind, I can't possibly feel comfortable following the England football team.
Been a couple of years but the last England match I was at I didn't hear a single thing.
But trust me there are people who go to all events with that attitude.
