Full on headless chicken mode.

This is why Root is horribly underrated, in both limited overs formats. Yea his strike rate doesn't look great, but he actually bats to the situation.

Where as England just headless chicken their way into trouble when this game should have been a doddle.

Decisions have been very very poor actually not poor because that means they make mistakes. Buttlers lbw if it was the other way the finger would not have went up we should have taken an umpire over with us have one of each.

I also think whoever we bought over would've been a sitting duck. One decision marginally in our favour, and they'd have kicked off

Root in 50 overs for me at 3 is an 100% yes
