Absolutely mental that the series starts in 80 hours and we don’t know which channel is showing it. If any.
I know. Imagine the senior teams at the likes of C4. I know they’ll have prep’d in case they’re successful but still, it’ll be a mental three days ahead if they land it.
Not long to pester all vendors of hair replacement products, lager and erectile dysfunction cures.

I seem to remember something like this happened last time when we toured India and I think the go ahead was given with only a couple of days to go. Sky won so they would have been prepared. If this happens with C4 will they have a presenting team in place ? They will probably just use the Indian broadcast link so they wont have to worry about commentators.
Dont channel 4 have a good relationship with Sky? Sky could let some of there own do the gig if channel 4 asked

Someone suggested David Gower should front it which would be great but very unlikely.
I reckon some of those outside that group - Hughes, Nicholas, Pietersen, Swann - would get it. Assuming none of them are already with Talksport.

If channel 4 do get the TV rights to the series I wonder if there will be more TV viewers watching the cricket live in this country at 5am than watched Stokes heroics at Headingley 18 months ago.
Stokes peaked at 2.1m according to a paper today so it might be close.

Wonder if we’re going to have this rigmarole for the white ball leg of the tour as well or if they’ll get the whole Shebang

If they get it I hope the highlights are on at a decent time as will be at work for most of it.

Just booked next Monday off graft. Superbowl at 11:30pm Sunday then straight into day 4 (if it's not finished by then like).
Just searched TV channels to see which side and what time, couldn’t find it so thought it was next week. Didn’t for a minute think it was cause it hasn’t been sorted yet!! Unreal
