It’s £5.99 a month, surely worth getting for a couple of months and saving yourself the hassle/getting a good picture? If it ends up on Disney, it'll be finding a stream for me.
I take being blocked by him on Twitter as a badge of pride.Michael Vaughan is an absolute tosser these days. #onon
Seems madness that this starts in 5 days and there's still no idea as to what channel it's being broadcast on.
Would definitely be a very positive thingOh please let it be C4.
Please.
For so many reasons.Would definitely be a very positive thing
Sky are brilliant with cricketFor so many reasons.
Personally, for the next few months I won't be able to have access to satellite TV.
But for the future of cricket, it would be great for everyone in the country to be able to have access to live Test cricket.
It should never have been sold to Sky.
My point is that it less accessible. I think when Sky got the rights after the 2005 Ashes, only something like 25% of the population had satellite TV.Sky are brilliant with cricket
Buy sky if you like cricket so muchMy point is that it less accessible. I think when Sky got the rights after the 2005 Ashes, only something like 25% of the population had satellite TV.
After what was probably the best Test series in my lifetime, instead of being able to promote the game, suddenly 75% of the population lost access to live Test cricket
Probably higher % have satellite now, but it is is split with Sky and BT, so costs more. It reduces accessibility and therefore interest in our national sport.
Had it for over 20 years.Buy sky if you like cricket so much
That's not really so simple though, is it?Buy sky if you like cricket so much
And what about the people that have payed for sky sports and are getting to see less and lessThat's not really so simple though, is it?
We're in a deep recession and a pandemic. Some people are struggling to even put food on the table let alone pay for Sky, then pay extra for SkySports.
Same for, say the elderly on a measly pension? If they don't watch a lot of TV and all they really watch is on Dave, why would they pay for Sky Sports and all that comes with it, just to watch a few Test matches, when the money could be better spent elsewhere?
Why should these people not have the right to watch the most popular summer sport in the country? And what good does it do our game to be hiding itself?
It isn't as simple as "if you like cricket, just stump up a onner a month to watch it".
They can still watch cricket. They don't exactly lose out.And what about the people that have payed for sky sports and are getting to see less and less
Yeh but you pay extra for a product you aren't going to be happy is you lose some of it, you also pay for quality of product which sky are excellent with, look at when it was on BBC it was embarrassingThey can still watch cricket. They don't exactly lose out.
Did you feel bummed out when Sky gave the WC Final away FTA?
