Inbetweeners & Still Game

The best thing about still game is all the supporting characters are quality. My family had a newsagent and having worked in them in a not so great area, navid is spot on... My favourite navid because anyone who has worked in a shop has been there...

Bit strange listening to it in the first take without canned laughing but you get the gist.

Jeff Capes.

G’Wed that’s been on ITV recently I’d describe as a scouse inbetweeners style show, some jokes closer to the bone than you usually see these days which I enjoyed!

I really enjoyed that. Didn't think I would initially but it's pretty funny and there's a warmth and depth to the characters as well.

ITVX/ITV have started to make some decent sitcoms - The Dry is tremendous and Significant Other very good in a low key way.
Anyone know the name of the sketch show the still game cast did first?

Chewin' The Fat. It's mentioned earlier in the thread...

Inbetweeners is class tbf like, I was in about year 9 when it first aired and it was spot on. Funny as owt. Films not as much but still pretty spot on for a lads holiday.

But there’s plenty other shows just as funny imo.
