Yes definitely. We just can't buy a clean sheet. We definitely need to defensively organise the back line & the covering midfielders

Which I find quite unbelievable from a former centre backYes definitely. We just can't buy a clean sheet.
Well he's twice said that the players are really happy with him so I can only assume he has them doing fuck all in trainingYou're right, it is his job. It's also his job to ultimately oversee the fitness level of the players. I haven't a clue what he's doing in this respect, but the players to a man look totally unfit and out of condition.
Tbf we couldn't defend under world class CB Terry butcherWhich I find quite unbelievable from a former centre back
Very valid re:Butcher, so basically I agree it's down to shit mangers. And as for the first line above, I cannot work out why the "players" are happy with him because his team direction gets them criticised by our fans as we repeatedly concede & don't win so basically training must be very easy with little hard physical work or criticism?Well he's twice said that the players are really happy with him so I can only assume he has them doing fuck all in training

The commonality.......both shit managers
And bloody hell it was but how can we have largely been in control first half then backs to the wall second half?I said when the second half started to me dad that it could be a game of two halves.

And apparently re: radio they had chances to score more than the three they did scoreAs soon as they scored their second there was only going to be two outcomes - them winning or the draw
The players won't give a fuck about criticism they may get in person for a few mins a week, if they have a piss easy time of it all weekVery valid re:Butcher, so basically I agree it's down to shit mangers. And tbf they gifted us 2 or our 3And apparently re: radio they had chances to score more than the three they did score
strangely I used "piss" easy when I first typed my response but changed it because I thought maybe use of "piss" was detrimental but seeing as you also thought piss was relevant to explain the training I'll go with that! The players won't give a fuck about criticism they may get in person for a few mins a week, if they have a piss easy time of it all week

apparently so, which takes the shine off scoring three goalsThe players won't give a fuck about criticism they may get in person for a few mins a week, if they have a piss easy time of it all week

Oooooof but true I’m afraidAs soon as they scored their second there was only going to be two outcomes - them winning or the draw
very trueOooooof but true I’m afraid
That's what we're in unfortunately with SG. I'm inclined to think it's management directive with a portion of the others includedOver recent seasons when we have had a lead we retreat and the players turn to jelly fish, it was inevitable the draw. Instead of going on and burying them I do not know if it is a management directive or they die of chickenshititis but it groundhog day all over.
Most people are first to blame the manager. Now, not being at the game, nor listening to it due to work commitments, i can't really comment on how we played, but surely the players should shoulder some blameWhat if it’s down to poor errors by the players on the pitch, and not something he’s done?
Especially the defence. As someone mentioned on another thread the front four let down by the back seven. Most people are first to blame the manager. Now, not being at the game, nor listening to it due to work commitments, i can't really comment on how we played, but surely the players should shoulder some blame
If I could price one I would buy one for the useless deckers!Yes definitely. We just can't buy a clean sheet.
The players should carry some of he blame for what they provide (or don't) while on the pitch. It's either the "manager" that selects his preferred lay-out to perform, or what he's put out doesn't. But both are not coming up to standardMost people are first to blame the manager. Now, not being at the game, nor listening to it due to work commitments, i can't really comment on how we played, but surely the players should shoulder some blame
