If we throw this away at 1-3 half time.

Well surely its his job as manager to do something about these repetitive on-pitch player errors either by coaching or sorting it out on the training ground. That's what other manages do?
You're right, it is his job. It's also his job to ultimately oversee the fitness level of the players. I haven't a clue what he's doing in this respect, but the players to a man look totally unfit and out of condition.

How to throw away a two goal lead. Over to you SG
It’s unforgivable especially seeing as they looked chaotic in the first half. Tactics and motivation to blame....those players should have bolted together and locked those fookers out. Grayson has lost it, simple....Simon must go,

What happened? Last I saw you were 3-1 up at half time. Did they bottle it? Or just Brentford had a good talking to at half time?
They managed to concede two more goals, teams don't really need a "good talking to" to score twice against us, all we need to do is continue NOT doing basic things right. And yes, "bottling it" will be somewhere in it again

Being "nervous" can also make players look unfit, and I'm convinced SG's instructions add to the players' lack of confidence if they aren't convinced with what he asks the team to do in situations. He has them every week between games to correct these problems but on they go. Even down to giving that free kick away which ended up in our goal [poor challenge]

Which could add to the fact a player needs to up-to-speed with the opposition when attempting tackles otherwise he ends up conceding free kicks in bad situations due to bad timing tackles.

No it doesn’t Anyone who’s watched the way the club has been going for seven years now, and actually understands what they are seeing, can tell that it’s got fuck all to do with him,
What's the point in having him here then?

I asked you on the other thread what you think his performance objectives were

A decent free kick and a massive deflection. Things just aren’t going for us at the moment.
Decent free kick that the keeper should have saved. It was on the side of the goal he was defending and by his body shape, everyone watching knew the BRentford player was going top right hand corner. Steele was close enough that he should have saved it

There's another relegation topic: poor goalkeepers

I honestly don’t know how anyone can defend him , he’s well out of his depth in this job
Yes, he's demonstrated over & over that he's out of his depth here and at this level: i.e. organisationally, tactically, defensively, motivationally & player recruitment-wise. He seems not to know how to put a solid team together and what to tell his selection as they go out to play. Then we move onto what he coaches them on during the week to improve things and his knowledge of what his options are should he need to change things during a game. If there's any aspect he's got right I still cannot see it as he unconvincingly stumbles from one failing to another. Even how he sets the team up to protect his dubious goalkeeper(s). He also obviously knew what funds would be available when he agreed to come?
