If We Get To Wembley

Probably end up paying 400 quid for corporate again but I’ll be there regardless
Expect to pay more than £400 should we get to the final.

Normally we would have had a poorly attended 3rd round tie that could have been used as a way to set a phase 1

I assume any potential home QF would sell out so can't use that

Has to be the BCP system and I look forward to the arguments if that happens unless they can create a phase 1 based on length of ST held
Just use the Huddersfield cup game then.

However it will be using the new 3 tier system in my opinion.

Difficult to think what a loyalty point cut-off could be for 30k tickets.

Will they do 5+ points or just leave those on 5-10 to scrap it out with those on 0-5?

Well I went to that so it would work for me

Not sure if they have the data but could use last year's FA Cup too

But like you say, I suspect it will be the three tier system

Probably enough to go around for the Uber category of season card holders. If there is a problem for a small number of people, they will be able to prove they had a ticket via their archived passes, email confirmations, bank or credit card records.
Do you think they'll go to that bother?

Same, so it's obviously the way to go 🤣. The three tier probably works as maybe around 28K in the Uber category.

Apparently there's a small number of people who need to prove they have had a season card last season, it's up to those individuals to be bothered. They can either do so, and A. Pay less for this season's ticket and B. Be in the correct category going forward, C. Be in the correct category if the Tier system is used to decide who can apply for cup final tickets. Or alternatively just not be bothered.

I meant will the club go to that length? You've said that a small number need to prove they had a season card last season, if it's for Wembley will it not be a lot more?

Liverpool used to have a lottery for STH every time they got to Wembley. Not sure if it is still like that.

Anyone who was a season ticket holder last season will get them ? Season ticket holders from this season only wouldn't stand a chance

I'm in the same boat. I have 66 points and my lad has 9. He's a big lad and will be 16 so should be ok in the ground on his own but IF it does happen i'll like us to be together watching it.
I explained to mine last season he wasn’t going to Wembley cos he wasn’t old enough. He was 5. He took it well but has talked a lot about me taking him to Wembley ever since. He knows he’s missed out. All he does now is go on about football. It would kill me not to take him.

We had 34k season tickets last season. Probably still too many considering players family, corporate and sponsors getting chunks.

It isn't anything to do with Wembley mate. The club are asking people right now, who are in this particular boat, to sort out their renewal at the correct price and category, in order to do so people are needing to give the club evidence of last season's ticket. When some people came to their renewal they were evidently lumped into an incorrect category. Although I don't know anyone personally affected, spoken to all of our wider group and others, so around 20 and all fine and correct.

If they made it something like Season ticket holders on 2 points that would knock out about 10K who barely go to away games or home cup games. Fairest way IMO.
Starts to get tricky though Keith, in theory you could have somebody with their "first" season card this season, who also bought tickets for Huddersfield and Everton and therefore on 2 points, getting the opportunity to be a cup final ticket ahead of someone with a season card for decades. However if that is what's decided as fair, so be it.

Unfortunately there is always going to be someone who falls the wronhg side of a line. All hypothetical at this stage anyway of course

Seeing as they’ve just used the length of season ticket thing to give discounts for next year’s season tickets, I reckon a fair way would be to use that again or similar. So basically if you had a season ticket during the League One and then those first couple of Championship seasons you should get priority.
