Before the Di Canio 3-0 they made us queue in the cordon approaching the turnstiles and checked every ticket. But that was because for years before that people had openly gone through without tickets and either gone through the turnstiles in pairs or passed their ticket back after going through knowing the police would just let them in anyway after the turnstile flashed red. They kept people without tickets back in the vans then sent them on their way after kick off. Not beyond the realms of possibility they'd set up stall or something - the area just before the turnstiles is usually a sterile zone with a load of riot vans parked up - but extremely unlikely I'd think.

Apparently there will be ID checks at the landfill on Sunday, as there’s an away ticket office.
I can’t imagine anyone has passed their ticket on for this but something to be aware of, just make sure you have ID.

Yes it's a ball ache but it should be well known enough now that you could be pulled for an ID check?
Although unless we have clarified and I haven't seen, no idea what they class as ID yet!
