if they've been going for years they wouldn't need to be in a 'pool' this pool suggests to me this 'pool' is made up of those who sacked it off when we were shit and have only recently conveniently rediscovered their passion for away games.
also, how does the person who runs the branch decide who gets the spare tickets? is it his mates, his relatives or someone who pipes them off? it's absolutely not up to anyone else other than the club who gets a ticket and the loyalty point system is named that for a reason.
Or bring back like it used to be, where groups can total their points and then average them out. Means children can start going with parents and also help branches so group applications?I would advocate having a lower loyalty point threshold for, say, under 25s.
To improve the atmosphere and to keep youngsters interested, we’ve got to try something like this.
Going to an away game these days quite often feels like a pensioners day out.
Tin hat on here but I agree. This season's away atmosphere for majority has being a bit disappointing imo. Chelsea was immense. Forest and Palace was canny. Liverpool was truly awful and I thought Brighton was pretty quiet for most of it. Fulham was awful aswel.I would advocate having a lower loyalty point threshold for, say, under 25s.

you do realise you can't 'share' a season ticket don't you?A pool to me would suggest about 40 people sharing 10 season tickets over the course of the season. And each person going to an average of 5 games. And the tickets just circulating around the same people. Obviously if they'd started year's ago they'd have built points up but that's not how life works

a pool suggests to me people on points not enough to get a legitimate ticket who couldn't be arsed the last few years but suddenly rediscovered their love of the club when watson scored the winner at wembley.
edit, do you honestly believe there will be 40 people sharing 10 season tickets or are you just being stupid?
your mates are absolute bellends then who are conspiring to cheat people with more points out of tickets. that is of course if any of that is true.I mean sharing it for away games only
We've got mates who have STs with 10,20 points on , but the odd time one of the phase one lads isn't going, they'll use there's to guarantee a ticket.
I think your getting the wrong end of the stick of what I'm trying to say.
Get a gripyour mates are absolute bellends then who are conspiring to cheat people with more points out of tickets. that is of course if any of that is true.
sounds to me like you're quite ok with this.
i take it you agree with more deserving people missing out? well done.Get a grip
You think this is a new phenomenon? Where have you been dafty?i take it you agree with more deserving people missing out? well done.
In theory I agree with you, but do you tell your mates no when they ask, to maintain the integrity of the loyalty points?your mates are absolute bellends then who are conspiring to cheat people with more points out of tickets. that is of course if any of that is true.

no, i'm not saying it's a new thing. i'm simply saying it's wrong. if you don't mind wrong doing then crack on.You think this is a new phenomenon? Where have you been dafty?
yes. it's called being fair and doing the right thing and perhaps if everybody did it this thread wouldn't exist. In theory I agree with you, but do you tell your mates no when they ask, to maintain the integrity of the loyalty points?
For me I don't really think anyone can really blame people for doing it. I know my stepson and a few of his mates got a lot of points and they didn't get there by attending every game. They've got a big circle of friends so there might be 5 with high points, and if any of those 5 can't go they'll always give it to a mate so there's still a group of them going. It's not right, but I can see why people with high points will be happy to pass the ticket to a mate.In theory I agree with you, but do you tell your mates no when they ask, to maintain the integrity of the loyalty points?
No one is doing that tho. Show me who is selling their tickets for huge profits.
I used to share a ST many yrs agono, i'm not saying it's a new thing. i'm simply saying it's wrong. if you don't mind wrong doing then crack on.

I'd be wary that's a total scam tbh and no such ticket exists. You must be logged on to see external links

But that being the case, given it's probably fairly common, I also can't blame the club for looking to crack down on it now that lots of people who have legitimately attended a lot of games are missing out
At least we have a 3 year (?) cut off for points. I read that the mags points are indefinite so some have built up massive totals so are now just old and miserable as opposed to young and boisterous. Think we saw that first hand in the derby.I would advocate having a lower loyalty point threshold for, say, under 25s.
