Booo hoo.Funny way of saying you were wrong like![]()
I guessed that would be the case. So the club want tickets to go to waste for people who can't travel last minute for legitimate reasons. Thats crap.If you’re selected and don’t have the ID you don’t get in.
I am currently down Brighton.Funny way of saying you were wrong like![]()
Will you take id to a game if you get an email before setting off saying you need id?I am currently down Brighton.
No photo ID nor will I be carrying any this season.
Behave.

Thats not what I asked mate.I have got no photo ID with me.
Its now 22:48 the night before so to late now.
I still don't think it's us insiting on the checks, I think it's the away teams policy. You reckoned it was just a man city thing![]()
Think this is why they want all digital tickets in the premier League as well as for security.from what I can gather it's harder to tell if a paper ticket with just a qr code on has been used as opposed to an NFC ticket.Might have been dreaming it but I'm sure I've heard this somewhere. My mate never turned up at city and he’s been picked again tomorrow
Happy to be ID’d but the useless clowns haven’t even sent me my ticket yet, despite saying it would be with me this afternoon, like fuck am I travelling down without a ticket so I’ll be asking for match ticket and train ticket to be refunded.
Pointless asking asksafc again as they have given me three different answers, the ticket office is full of absolute amateurs.
They really need a rocket up their arse instead of listening to moaning Minnie’s who never gan.
Yeah got itHave you got your download now?

I'm sure Brighton did ID checks on the Mags a few years ago.
It's possibly a way for the home team to implement a process to reduce the likelihood of trouble / reduce daytrippers.
Hope they don't do it for Everton away, planning on going with someone but using someone else's season card because they can't go.
If I got an email like that I’d assume it was spam. The TO have my name, address and membership number. They use two of them in emails to me about the West Ham ticket I bought this week. You must be logged on to see media items
Ooops, I meant the home team...We are the away team….
Far too much common senseIf I got an email like that I’d assume it was spam. The TO have my name, address and membership number. They use two of them in emails to me about the West Ham ticket I bought this week.
Plus, why not get a map to show where the TO is at the Amex.
And another thing, at the bare minimum, you’d expect a definition of valid ID.
I do realise that the TO have a poor record of thinking things through and that parts of the email may have been depersonalised. But all the IT training on cyber fraud I got at work used examples like this as red flags. I’d hope that this would be taken into consideration when talking to BHA’s TO.
We have travelled to Bedford and are going on the train direct to Brighton from here in the morning , I haven’t had an email but if I had I have no ID I literally have my phone and railcard same goes for my son and nephew as they only have their phonesIts probably fair enough doing ID checks. Its definitely not fair enough doing them at Brighton away where many will have travelled down today and sending an email out this evening. And its also not fair enough doing this without any communication about any potential repercussions on not having ID for your ticket if chosen.
The ticket office is maddening at times.
