ICC suspend Sri Lanka


It's a terrible shame for the Sri Lanka team, just when they appeared to be showing some progress.
 
f***ing hell. So they out the World Cup now, too? I know they're already out, but are they able to fulfill their last fixture?
 
Reading a few bits on Twitter suggesting it’s a token gesture almost. Their WC is finished, they’ve not got any more games scheduled until end of December, SL reps are still going to be attending ICC meetings and ECB don’t expect to have to change their schedule next year. Sounds very much like Yorkshire’s t20 punishment from this year.
 
Sri Lanka now allowed to play. Been stripped of u19 WC. As predicted, turned out to just be a token gesture will little actual punishment.
