It's a truly awful feeling when you discover someone you once admired was a paedophile. It makes you feel almost complicit in their crimes. A US guitar player I met twice committed suicide a couple of years ago. This was followed by rumours that he was about to be exposed for some vile abuse of children. I would never have suspected he would do anything like that. Worst part is that l'll never know for sure he did because no criminal case can be brought against him now.

I bet 'age of consent?' is in his browsing history

Heard he was a new order fan like

Seems I fell on the wrong side of taste in spectacular fashion on this occasion.

Apologies.

I believe they brushed her off as a spurned ex and I think she used to be a prostitute.

Sounds like a much wider attitude problem within the police if I'm honest, let's forget about Ian Watkins for a second but where else have we saw a victim's past used against them? Stephen Lawrence? Those girls at Rotherham? I'm sure there are many more cases, the police need to sort their bonces out.

Careful, you'll be accused of having an agenda against the police.

The resident police assure us that these regular and on occasion large scale failings are only a result of a minority...

Really? I don't find it hard to separate the two faces of an artist who might have an unsavoury personal life. I can still enjoy watching Polanski's Rosemary's Baby and if I had to purge from my home every musician who probably had a sexual predatory history my vinyl collection would probably be a lot smaller.

I do know though, people who now flatly deny ever going to a Glitter Christmas shin-dig at the arena despite the fact they loved them at the time. I consider that to be strange behaviour if I'm being honest.

I am not responsible for the actions of other people.

Right so admittedly I came across as a right arsehole with some comments yesterday making light of an awful situation in a daft attempt at being funny.

Got it wrong and rightly have took a pasting and I'll take a pasting for a while I would expect which is fair enough.

Some of the harsher comments about me on this thread, I'm hoping are meant in jest, and are as misguided as mine but again I'm not particularly offended as it's the usual SMB crack.

Apologies if anyone was offended. As has been commented I'm generally a good lad, occasionally a bellend as we all are, and have picked the wrong topic and made some daft comments which I shouldn't have. Bad taste by me and lesson learned. This can be my equivalent of my first ever SMB meltdown!
You're starting to unravel under all this guilt
