A real tough game this one.
Carlisle need the win, long journey up etc.
A draw would clearly suit us more than Carlisle. Even more so after winning the last 2.
Carlisle have definitely improved the last 2 games and can see them coming out of the blocks and at us from the off.
Carlisle have to get at you to have any chance of the 3 points because they need them more than you at the minute. You're really in the driving seat because your points are in the bag already, they're playing catch up so you can dictate the game which I'm sure you'll do by breaking it up & frustrating to get the home crowd on their backs. The longer it goes without a Carlisle goal puts it further into your hands. I don't think they've turned the corner yet.

Game on.
I reckon Carlisle are on their way back down, running out of games now.
A lot of their fans think the same from a website, they need to do something rapidly.
I reckon Carlisle are on their way back down, running out of games now.
Plus, they don't have time to bed all the new players in.

Morecambe are in serious trouble.
I watch most of their games when I can.
They had players lines up in this window and now they are on yet another embargo.
The had put in some impressive defensive performances nov early December but now are decimated.
They can not score.
There is only one relegation place left.

Real heartbreaking as I always have enjoyed trips to Morecambe.
I will be coming up in March.

29th March.👍🍺
You can’t help not like him and can understand why players want to play for him.
Definitely some David Brent trends.

Listen from 22:25 reference the injury on the left back 🤣🤣

Wouldn't anyone at that level want to play for him, top football bloke superb patter. Training & behind the scenes must be a joy.

Doing some job at Swindon despite the shit show off the field.

Waking up this Morning thinking we are about safe now.
The last 4 games were going to define the season as all teams in and around the bottom.
Barrow, Newport, Tranmere and Carlisle. 12 points out of 12.
IH has done this alone since the DOF walked out and Mark Kennedy sacked.

You can see a group of players and I mean a squad of players all playing for the Manager. The impact the substitutions are making and the way he utilises them are paying dividends. Will always be remembered as a Manager that saved Swindon from certain Conference football.

The difference a good manager makes is colossal. Same applies for a shite one aswell mind!

Spot on Mate.
He criticised the fans (a fan) at Bradford and I know a media bloke had words with him about the fanbase and 10 years of ownership issues.
Can’t stop praising the fans now and getting the unity and support.

Don't even mention safety until it's certain but you've put yourself in a position to have it in your own hands, IH has gone game by game to set out a competent playing side then picked off the competitors to put you in the position you are. So enjoy it, because if he's being retained he'll want assurances as he begins a quest to improve for next season while the momentum is still there. I'd imagine IH has already had talks about it and what he'd be allowed to progress - that's the game. And IH knows it.

I knew your results had picked up significantly over recent time but hadn't checked the league table for a while. Impressive.

I'm sure mid-table mediocrity is welcome and has a very nice feel to it, despite the off-field circus.

Only for a season. You're not safe unless the shower who own the club are got rid of. Or have they been and I missed it.

What sort of budget to Swindon have compared to the rest of the teams in the league? Were they in a false position in terms of how big their seasonal wage bill is or what?

I know things aren't as straight forward as that but I always think Bradford, as an example, must have the biggest wage bill in the league but are very rarely involved in the promotion race. Although they are play offs at the moment. I've always thought Swindon would be among the highest too

We are in the bottom half.
A testament to this lot running us. We do however have annual unexplained and growing admin costs of £2.3 million.

Bradford and Swindon should be the highest in terms of revenue. However near on 2,500 fans have deserted now and that will only reflect on next years budget.

Rinse and Repeat.

Has performed a miracle.
Keeping us up this year is some achievement having taken over the same team.

The players love the old ghost buster.

Our 3rd goal worthy of winning a game at any level.
What a strike. Decent game and on reflection a fair result. Just lack of concentration at the end.
What a goal.
