Ian Holloway

Conceded 13 in the last 5 games and hasn’t won in the league yet.

Awful start, but Swindon may well be a basket case both on and off the field.
Difficult to judge in that case.

Whoever Swindon play look decent value on an accumulator nowadays. They’ve only won two in the league so far.

Be interesting to get @Swindon On Tour to give an opinion on how Holloway is perceived with the fans.

You could throw anyone in and they would struggle to make an impact.
Staff leaving now and not being replaced.
These owners have to sell and let it go.

Kendall won the League with Everton.

You asked for more lauded managers, and Potter is in that bracket.

You will twist and turn, change your peramiters to suit, and not have the decency to admit you're wrong.

And to accuse the bloke of not caring with no evidence is just fuckin screaming for either a qualification or an apology.
But you choose to ignore that bit.

You are a bar room bore marra, pontificating on stuff you know fuck all about, as you yourself even admitted earlier.

Toddle off man.
my parameter was one holloway likes...1,000 games as a manager in england. Hollway has spoken about how much it means to him to get to that number. I cited Moyes because he has that, as does Steve Bruce, as does Allardyce. As does Warnock, to me those as hollways comparators. Potter doesnt, nor does Dyche.
Yes everton were good in the decades before Moyes, but they werent title contenders or anything like it when he took over. Is three promotions in 1,000 games good? Bruce and Warnock are probably more lauded than Holloway, and have that or more. Moyes is more lauded, but has operated at the very top level longer than any of those others mentioned.

We are burning through players and managers.
Tad harsh to say Holloway doesn’t care. I think he does.
Sure as fans we can question his selection and tactics but the effort on that pitch last night was a disgrace even making allowances against the lack of ability that we have.

Load of bullshit spouted about budgets but we are cutting ours year on year.
Signing players that are already out of action then just hoping they play or fit in a recipe for disaster. The standard of our loanees the worst ever.

Unpaid bills mounting, staff leaving and not being replaced, near on 3,000 fans deserted and an owner publicly stating doesn’t know why we want to protest, all in it together etc.

Nothing you can do except continue to go or stay at home.
Like being on a firing squad with a choice. Bow and Arrow or Cross Bow.

Just turn off the lights wouldn’t be a bad outcome right now.
At least you would know where you are.
Finally messages from non Swindon fans are respectful and supportive. My Swindon Mates all kinds of emotions as you can imagine, sadness, anger and pure depression.
I’ve suffered from all 3 and whilst I say, ‘I don’t care anymore,” of course I do as near on 50 years is difficult to erase.
STFC - RIP.

it also doesn't help when clubs like Wrexham and Birmingham are spending silly money...

They weren't your perameters to set.

You asked me for examples of more lauded managers with less a achievements.
Ii gave you plenty of examples that can be qualified with trophies and promotions. It has fuck all to do with 1000 games. You just used that. Not part of the discussion. Just you twisting stuff to suit you.

It's what you always do. You lose an argument and introduce something that has fuck all to do with the original discussion and take it off on a tangent

And at what point are you going to inform us of how you know that Holloway doesn't care about Swindon?

Take your heed for a dump man, and don't forget to wipe your mouth.

lauded is an imprecise term...some of those managers you mentioned have achieved vastly more..because in some cases they were operating at levels from which promotion isnt possible. The 1000 games thing is holloways metric not mine...he keeps mentioining it because it makes you an LMA hall of fame manager in the UK..only 26 english men have it..now that is being lauded...and i would contend that he will be among the very least successful of the managers to have 1000 games in the english football league. And among the 26 englishmen as well. So he is lauded but not very successful by the meaure he cares about, those with 1,000 games in England. Its his measure. Why would you compare him to potter, who has managed much less than him, compare his achievements with his contemporarie, its like saying chris rigg hasnt won the same numver of premier leagues as Rodri...
