Huggins new contract delayed due to injury



Someone will be along to criticise the club for not looking after him despite criticising the club for looking after Evans and Willis in the past.

Seriously though if he gets over this injury I hope we can tie him down long term, he is an excellent footballer in terms of where we are at. He improves us instantly
 
Cracking player. His goal against Watford was superb.

Mind you we'd have decisions to make if all of our fullbacks were fit.

I'd assume Hume and Cirkin would be first choice for most.

Did those two not get extensions as they were coming to the end of their current contracts? That’s not the case with Huggins.

Off this season alone he’s 1st choice in either slot and then it’s a toss up between Hume or Alese for me. Good thing is all fit we have ver very good fullbacks
 
Still got a year left so no reason to rush into giving him a new deal yet.

Big year coming up for him if he spends most of next season out i'd probably not renew it.
