How much would you pay for a final ticket?

I know a mag down south who didn't stump up about £2k for a league cup final ticket when offered.

Initially I thought that was fair enough, as as times are tough and people have other priorities.

They'd been made redundant but had started a new job that they were worried about. Turns out they'd got a redundancy lumper that would have made me consider semi retirement, and yet they were over cautious (in my opinion) about a ticket to the match.

Different strokes for different folks. I'd consider whacking a couple grand on a card for the chance of a lifetime.
 

Dunno, but they’re taking the piss holding the final in a stadium that size. You’d like to think a season ticket holder would have a ticket with their name on it.

It’s an embarrassment how many tickets go to corporates at pretty much any football final now, depressing in fact.
 
Depends on the final, venue and opposition. For Freiburg in Istanbul for the Europa league then probably about 1k.

Real Madrid at the Stad de france for CL final then around 3k.
 
I'm canny sensible these days as in £xxx I could buy xxx many of something with that . Plus all the stories of shit transport and security arrangements at this big events . Standing around for hours etc .
 
I’d use illicit means to gain access to the ground personally. Impersonating a Spanish commentator or claiming to be a CAF representative from South Africa or something. Using plastic surgery and exceptional acting skills.
 
Face value only, to pay more only encourages the touts and supports FIfAs argument for dynamic pricing. In short true football fans are being ripped off.
