How much would you pay for a final ticket?

It’s an embarrassment how many tickets go to corporates at pretty much any football final now, depressing in fact.
I went to the opening game France 98 Brazil v Scotland total allocation for both countries 11000 all the rest were corporate and sponsors.Sickening to see the corporates walking past the pub with lanyards around their necks advertising the fact they got freebies

Season ticket holders with 7 home Europa games and 2 aways then just 7 home Europa games.

Problem is, can't get away tickets because the same 3,000 fans buy a ticket every week and sell it on if they can't go so it's a closed shop.

Additionally we have 30k season ticket holders and 33k on the waiting list.

There's thousands of Villa in the "neutral" ends but to give half the ground to corporates who then rinse the actual fans on resale sites is so wrong.

And yet, so totally expected.
We have the same problem mate but let's not go there...!

Going to go against the grain (in the main) here….and say that going to the city where it is being played has no appeal for me if I didn’t have a match ticket.
My arthritis has got lots to do with my thoughts, but genuinely, I would gain just as much pride and (hopefully) pleasure watching it on the TV with mates.

Are you Brazilian or Scottish ?

Wish I'd spent the 500 for me and my dad to go now, won't lie I thought we'd get beat and didn't want to spend half a grand to see us lose at Wembley again
I know what you mean, I’d seen us lose multiple times at Wembley including that heartbreak 4-4 v charlton. It was only a young lad at work who said “if you dont go and they score a winner in the last minute, you’ll regret it for the rest of your days” …I booked a ticket that morning. 😊

I hope Emry gets stuffed in the final.

The way he threw the spurs match still wrangles with me.
Yes, you've said it a thousand times!! You post this crap in every thread. You don't like Villa. We get it.

This thread wasn't about who you wanted to win though was it? You've got a serious bee in your bonnet you do fella and you keep hijacking threads to post your weird obsession with Emery.
1K ticket only max knowing how much id spend on all the other shit. I’d like to think I’d qualify for allocation tickets though
Yeah that's about what most have paid. Although Freiburg section tickets are coming back into the market now, driving the price down a bit.

I managed to get UEFA prime ones from the UEFA site directly and they cost €690 for a seat with no hospitality. Just a seat on the half way line.

Crazy prices and no need for UEFA to scalp fans like this but they always have and always will.

Same with FIFA.

I wouldn’t pay anymore than face value on the ticket. I’ve been to Wembley eight times to see SAFC over the years and have never paid more than that.

When you add in the cost of flights, accommodation etc any European trip is pricey enough without being ripped off by exorbitant ticket price hikes.

I get the whole ‘unique experience’ argument and I’d 100% go if I got a face value ticket but without it I’d watch it at home in a bar.
