I'm not being contrary here but I prefer my feet cold. Get restless and jumpy when they are all hot.
Sometimes run them under cold water before bed.

Is that not just the fact that old hot water bottles were rubber and would melt if boiling water was poured into them directly? Modern ones are silicone iirc and don't have that problem.

I’ve got a new one and it says not to fill with boiling water.
