Was playing in league above our club last year so someone thinks he's OK.nice lad crap footballer
He was the best player on the pitch first half and Milwall stopped being a threat when he went off. Deservedly left the field to applause. He is not very good…. Neither a forward nor a midfielder is he……
He left the field to applause because he's an ex player that was a local lad that came though the ranks and (most importantly) we'd just scored 2 goals to go 2-0 up so the fans were feeling cheery. He was the best player on the pitch first half and Milwall stopped being a threat when he went off. What a load of rubbishI'd swap honeyman for Embleton in the match day squad
Gooch isn’t generally fawned over. He’s respected for loving the club and remaining loyal but is one of the most criticised players in the squad, often unduly so. Honeyman might win the vote you mention but more down to familiarity in this division having played in it the last couple of seasons. In some respects I’d say they are similar in that the both work hard, are committed, quite versatile and have a bit of quality but aren’t outstanding. Both very good squad members at championship level and Honeyman would play quite regularly if he was here IMO if not be an automatic starter.if you took a poll of championship fans asking the question of who was the better player between gooch and honeyman, at least 90% would vote for honeyman. The fawning over gooch only exists in our club's sphere.
Ross didn’t in the last quarter of our first season in league one and, in my opinion, that was a big mistake that may have cost us promotion. Admittedly he wasn’t in great form for a while before being dropped but he was better than the alternatives. Is the correct response to such a twisted post. One of the best things to come out of todays game is the return of Gooch. Every single manager picks him for every game when he's fit. They must all be wrong eh?
Why, he’s a magWeird craic from anyone that booed him mind
Is this true?Why, he’s a mag
Stories on here in the past of him supposedly celebrating a NUFC goal against us about 10 years ago when he was watching from the stands as a youth player registered to SAFC (we went on to win anyway)

He may well have tackled hard but he was absolutely horrific on the ball.
Is that true ? Interview with him in yesterdays match programme suggests otherwise. Why, he’s a mag
