Honeyman to Hull?

What’s his correct role mate?

Sorry for the late reply marra, missed the notification. He's a bog standard CM, maybe best of all in a 3 man setup with him allowed to push on. He's not a #10 or a true attacking midfielder, he can chip in with a goal or two but is mainly a grafter.

That was our main downfall last season imo, we had so many water carrier type CM's and nowt else, the quality of passing in the center of the pitch was crap in all honestly.

You've made that up, that never happened

It definitely didn't. Bar the Newcastle debacle, we had a canny season, with a good footballing side.
I know some fans have been critical of Honeyman but this bloke is off his rocker saying shit like that.

It makes no sense whatsoever. If Honeyman and scored and assisted like that then why would people be criticising him?

I wouldn't necessarily say he was getting booed and that but quite a lot of people used to twist about him. Admittedly I was one of them but hes turned into a cracking player now.

It wasn't just down to Honeyman. Outside of McGeady, the attacking players contributed nothing of note in the last third of the season. Players like Gooch in particular contributed even less than Honeyman.

Statistically that is not true. I don't think it's true actually watching the games I did see either tbh

Awwwwwwwwww Dan

I have to say of our fans go OTT with players. You just have to see how some of the posters talk about the likes of Larsson, O'Shea and Cattermole. You have people on here calling Honeyman a wanker! But I think Dan needs a reality check. Some of the criticism towards Honeyman is justified. He isn't a good no.10 and he isn't a captain. The way he acted down at Wycombe proved it. Captains sometimes have to be the cool head in the heated moment not starting the fighting!
