Chucky Puddin
Winger
I think the fee will be used to bring a centre half in, Heneghan then play C McLaughlin right wing back?

I’m still perplexed that he made it as a pro. I’ve never seen anything to demonstrate what he is good at? He goes missing for minutes on end in games and literally doesn’t have a position.
Northern Echo reckon he was stalling on a new deal, thats why he was sold

You've only just realised?People have spent over a year saying he is shit, does nothing and is National League standard and yet somehow think we should get more than £400K for him.
About as odd as people thinking he is shit and yet still wanting him to take a penalty at Wembley.
We have some utter idiots supporting us.

The fans didn't turn on him, he's hardly in a Rodwell situation. People neither love him or hate him. He's just sort of there. Like a League 1 Jack Colback (minus the hatred for maggery)

Oh well I agree with you then. His attitude is great, his energy created a lot of space but when he gets into space he normally wastes it. He was poor last season and I hope for much more from the likes of Embleton. Definitely the right time for him to go and genuinely wish him well. He will have a decent career but was not good enough for a side which wants promotion. No just pointing out his goals and the fact I left the board to watch the widower come back and the same posters going round in circles. For what its worth the hatred towards him is undeserved ,time to go yes but no need to put the boot in to one of our own .

BargainSo 400k......not 3 million
Provides energy, always looking for the ball and happy to move forward. Has had some bad games for sure, but mainly gets pelters from those that don’t truely understand how the game is played imho. Local lad too. I’m a bit concerned about this, 3 days before the opener with no hope of a replacement anytime soon.
No player is indispensable for us in this league though. Agree he’s not a true No 10 as well, so hopefully if this is true that’s what we’ll invest in.
Spot onThere's more than one way to skin a cat, you know. As a number 10, Honeyman does a decent job defensively. He works hard, harries the opposition a bit and tries to win back possession. However, when we have the ball he's pretty ineffectual in that position; he doesn't score or create much. In theory his work rate and movement should open up spaces for our more creative players to flourish, but we didn't see that enough last season.
What is it about people not rating Honeyman that means someone doesn't understand how the game is played?
