Honeyman to Hull?

Was actually better in the championship tbf, him and Gooch looked better at a higher level, which is odd.

I agree. Not sure what it is about them but they do seem more suited to a "better" division.

I think Honeyman will do alright. If we go up Gooch may kick on too, I always forget how young he is.

I wouldn’t say he was. Just we were a more limited team that had limited quality and therefore players looked better just by putting their all in.

Last season he’s had to play in a side expected to win games and he’s expected to get on the ball to make things happen. It’s too much for him.

There's been a drumbeat of rumours like this throughout the summer.

I'm not massively surprised. The way Ross has set his team-up - and the very surprise decision NOT to sell McGeouch - has pointed to something like this being on the cards given he wants the squad trimmed.

Honeyman and Watmore are the two players who I can't see in our system. But especially Honeyman.

The stick he gets is way ott, especially when you consider some of the absolute shithouses we've had playing for us in recent years. However it's probably for the best that he moves on.
Never got the hate but also never got where he was supposed to be playing for us, never shirked always gave 100% and genuinely seems a canny lad, if he does go he can hold his head up high imo.

Well I for one think this is a terrible deal for us. Losing our captain, our leader, our prolific goal scorer and assist maker in midfield. It’ll be the equivalent of Xavi and Iniesta leaving Barcelona.

We’ll rue the day we ever sold George ‘the Beekeeper’ Honeyman.

I honestly would be 100% shocked if true and I honestly thought Ross was going to persist with him. One thing about him that we can agree on is that he always gave it his all even if it wasnt good enough. We will be a better team IMO without him.
