Not defending him but I consider the main reason we didn't go up was our inability to keep clean sheets. Using your logic you could say the keeper was the one of the main issues for not being promoted as he didn't keep enough clean sheets - which is obviously not true. You cant blame not going up on one individual.
I think he's better than the alternatives we have on the wing, Watmore, Gooch etc have more pace but their delivery isn't as good as Maguire's from what I remember seeing. Mcgeady is on a different level obviously. Either way we certainly have more than enough options so that Honeyman won't be a huge loss.
No he didn't. No more than the rest of the team anyway. Not really, Under Bruce he got a load of stick off the supporters, from memory I am sure he got booed in one match, say he didn't he took a lot of stick from the same supporters giving a home grown lad a load of stick but loving Ovedio Baby, the state of some of our supporters is embarrassing.
Fair enough, decent points but I still think he must have had qualities that us fans didn't see, must have.I gave a few examples earlier. For me, Cattermole was the leader and prime example of this is the Checkatrade Final penalties. At the end of the day, leaders step up in that situation.
You’re saying no harm, but it did. He spent the last third of the season out of form and as captain, didn’t show the noticeable leadership qualities that Cattermole did. To me, that made him a very obvious target among the fans.
If your captain isn’t performing on the pitch, doesn’t seem like the obvious leader and tends to go missing during games, he’s going to attract stick. Not to the ridiculous levels you see on here, but extra criticism should be expected.
Nothing against George, a hard worker and a honest squad player, but he had too much responsibility last season and didn’t have the ability.
Down to what you remember but I recall he did.No he didn't. No more than the rest of the team anyway.
Maybe but it sounds like the plan (for Ross anyway) was to keep Honeyman but they accepted a bid.
Very strange and a bit concerning if Ross didn’t know about it. I wonder who is making the decisions.
Hopefully not Ross, seen enough of his shiteVery strange and a bit concerning if Ross didn’t know about it. I wonder who is making the decisions.
What's negative about it? Stuff like this happens at every club in the world. Why are we so different? Not everything has to be spun as a negative.
the less decisions ross makes the better..Very strange and a bit concerning if Ross didn’t know about it. I wonder who is making the decisions.

I did say if and that seems to be the suggestion of several journalists on Twitter. Obviously they could be twisting the narrative to get a story. It being a surprise does not constitute "not knowing about it" or it being done behind his back. That's just something people who have a proven record of either shit-stirring or having bad info have made up.
It runs totally contrary to the relationship the manager and the board both say they have. If Honeyman wanted to go I don't see any scenario in which the board wouldn't just explain that to JR, or any scenario where he wouldn't understand that fact. On the eve of a very important season, needlessly pissing your manager off by doing a deal behind his back is not even remotely the way in which the owners have gone about things, even the things that aren't ideal. Some people on here would love to convince everyone it is mind.
We've sold a player that no one is gutted about leaving, and some of them slated every week, so they're having to find other ways to slag the club off. Seems much more believable.
*Fewer.the less decisions ross makes the better..
no capital f..*Fewer.
Well I can only go off something I’ve been told who’s spoken to JR himself

It sounds like it wasn't Ross who made the decision to sell and was taken by surprise. Also looks like we will be bringing a LB and not another forward player.
