Honeyman to Hull?

Please be true! It would be a big boost to our promotion chances if Ross was unable to pick him. He was a complete waste of a shirt.

Hopefully just some really lazy scouts at Hull who have only seen his highlights of goals from late runs into the box, who haven’t bothered to find out he is a terrible footballer. Just like us with Gardner.

He's not a number 10 and will never be captain material. By giving him those responsibilities, Ross created problems for him.

If you want someone who can give you energy, is versatile, and will get you the odd goal, Honeyman can do a decent job. He'll be fine as a solid Championship squad player. If he's starting every week like, you're clearly not aiming very high.

Great news he’s going to be fair. Nice lad but literally does not fit into our team and certainly not captain material.

Honeyman out, Maddison/Enobakhare + new LB in and I will be happy with our squad.

Dunno if it's been mentioned yet...but can we please tone down the hating of Honeyman.... HULL MIGHT BE READING THIS AND CHANGE THEIR MINDS...

Thanks for the effort George and best of luck...if you need a lift down

Ross wasn't the first manager to make him captain - Bally also thought he was a great choice.

The people who are whinging about the the fans giving him a hard time, it should be remembered that Ross is just as much to blame for not dropping him when his form was poor like he did with Gooch.

I like Honeyman and really wanted to see him succeed here. He genuinely tries really hard but if his role is to be creative then he doesn’t fit that role imo. Good luck to him if he is off - even better luck to him if he is staying.

Glad he is off , him being captain and a no10 really doesnt fit at all it's been a hindrance and ross made a rod for his own back in making him captain in the first place
Hopefully we can get maddison in now

Who would you have playing in Honeymans role?
I'd give Embleton the chance to impress but there are lots of others who can play in that position like Maguire & McGeady for instance. I do feel sorry for George & he'll be sorely missed as a person, if not a player. Good luck to him.
