Hoffman



A couple of 'moments' so far when coming out to collect, which you often expect with foreign keepers adjusting to English football. But he certainly showed he's capable of some very good saves today.

Aye he did his job ya right but the problem of the last few seasons is that far to many times the goalkeepers haven’t done their jobs.
I never went to the Accrington game due to other commitments but he looked exactly what u want in a keeper today.
confident, calm and when needed came up with great saves.

If the keeper wasn’t there we’d have pinged shots in from all angles tbf

It is when the very same people earlier in the thread were criticising our attack for not scoring, even though their keeper pulled off as many equally good saves, particularly from McGeady late on

You're going to get this all season with posters who unbelievably defended Burge to the death despite his weekly errors and won't want to admit that we're so much better without him, even when Hoffmann is having games where he pulls off numerous excellent saves like yesterday.

your also going to get the opposite where people will go ott because of disliking Burge. like last week when he was all over the place people were claiming he had a great debut etc

why can't people just call it as it is without an agenda. he was excellent yesterday

Has anyone said he had a great debut? All the comments I've seen were how dodgy he was, which he was at times.
