thats not the final ball sadly.....so he passed the ball forwards a couple of times...congrats to him.....what about the countless number of crosses that went over everyone, or the balls the hit the first man

so in the 90 minutes, he made a couple of good possibly key pass into the box....thats not good enough....and that doesnt change the fact he is an ordinary player who shouldnt be in the squad for me.....but who gives a fuck because im not the england manager
Two excellent final balls, one for Vardy, one for Alli

Two goalbound shots blocked

Cross for deli ali

Was involved in virtually every near miss

Telegraph

Jordan Henderson
Another selection headache for Hodgson. Played some superb defence-splitting passes, particularly for Vardy’s early chance. Also a major goal threat with two shots blocked. 8
His set pieces were shocking but in open play we were only ever going to create anything from his link up down the right with Clyne.

Countless? He had a 91% pass completion rate. I agree his corners were poor, but overall he was one of England's better performers on the night.
Are you just ignoring the fact that his final ball created the two best chances of the match?

Not that it says much but he was our most creative CM as he was the only one who was trying to play it for the forwards and he created England's best chances. He also kept the ball better than Wilshere or Rooney. Especially Wilshere who probably had the worst individual performance for England that I can remember. His crosses were poor but most crosses in that game seemed to be over hit.

Other than create 2 of England's best 3 chances, obviously

I don't get it. He put 2 on the plate. Vardy should have scored his 1v1 and Alli unlucky to have his cleared off the line. Now the result was disappointing and we were mostly frustrated by a team desperate for the point but let's not lie and say these events didn't happen. If our finishing had been better we would have won 3/4 nil.

Henderson isn't the best midfielder but he doesn't usually disappoint. He grafts, his passing bar his set pieces last night was the best on the pitch and he also had two shots cleared by bodies desperate to keep a clean sheet that were heading in. (yes the keeper may have saved them) There were a couple of dissapointing displays last night, Wilshere for one, but Jordan didn't do much wrong and was our most creative player.

the only midfielder in the side who needed to bother about defending was dier. Henderson didn't do anything going forward. Not match fit so Roy's fault tbf.
He is the the only midfielder who created anything, great through ball for vardy, and a great pass for Clyne for lallana chance, and a great run and cross for Ali chance, so yeah I see ur point he did nothing going forward !!!

He wasn't shit he wasn't great he was plain and simply ok wasn't worth someone starting another thread on his performance

absolutely nail on head, Clyne probably had a better game but he was only able to do that because of the support he was getting from Henderson.

FFS !! Yes he's one of us but not an international player. Shouldn't have even been in the squad. Rose tinted spectacles again on here
You can say that but objectively speaking he created all our best chances and was statistically one of the best players on the pitch. Maybe it's you being subjective and viewing him through tinted spectacles?

He was born near to where I live therefor i must say he's better than somebody that was born further from where I live, even if that is to the debtriment of a squad of people who were born nearer to where I live in the context of a competition that is based solely on supporting those depending on which bit of rock they exited their mothers vagina on. Have I got this right?
