Hemir

They say that whatever doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger, but that’s not actually true. I think he will leave us the worse for it.
I was thinking that yesterday watching him, and Ba, and then Burstow. Keep playing these lads who are out of their depth and it can't be doing them any good. What kind of progress are they making playing for an hour and then getting hooked because they've done nowt?

Im not defending his performance at all, he was extremely poor but it took us till like the 66th minute to put a decent cross into the box that a striker could attack. Our style is not helping whoever we put up top at the minute.
You could argue that having him on the pitch is a hindrance.

It’s also killing the confidence of others.

Lad never opens his mouth, just loiters about up front waiting for the perfect chance that will never come. He needs to be shouting where he wants the ball playing and making runs to open space up for himself and others, drag a few defenders out of position. He’s just not got it in him at the moment and nobody is remotely worried about him causing them problems

Absolutely. He didnt deserve to be on the pitch at the time of the cross because of how he'd played.

But it doesnt change the fact we create absolutely nothing for forwards at the min.

We sit behind the dugout and his face when he came off yesterday the lad is in bits. And this isn’t the first time. As has been said he’s so far out of his depth, it’s verging on cruelty to expose him to this. I worry for the lad.

Then there is the flip side of who scouted and thought he was the answer ??

Suppose we all know the answer to that but in the modern game especially we have a duty of care to the boy cos that’s what he is.

Watch him warming up if you get in the ground early, the lad has absolutely nowt going for him, bone idle and his lack of footballing skill is alarming.
Which was the view of Mogga and many others

Spot on

He looked totally lost yesterday & I genuinely felt sorry for him. I don't think it's as simple as "not trying" - lots of strikers have the same languid style. The difference is that lots of strikers score goals - he doesn't look like doing it. He's a million miles away from being cut out to play at this level for now & I don't really know what we do with him to improve his fit for the Championship. If he got loaned out to a L1/L2 club I think he'd just get destroyed & it's not even like it'd be a useful education for him. Maybe he will turn out to be a good player for us in time (I doubt it tbh) and maybe there is a plan for him (not much more confident on this one). I'm less despondent about him than others (e.g. Hjelde) but for now it just looks an utterly terrible signing.

The only striker worth playing now is rysun.

Hemir and burstow are not good enough. Simple as that for me.

And why send mayenda up to Scotland. He looked better than the above two .
