Has Roefs got a sell on clause?

A £50m profit in 12 months for a GK would be an absolute miracle by Ghisolfi. That's the model.
But TBF I don't want to see him gone just yet.

Well we'll have to wait and see about that we sold Pickford for 30million in 2017.
This don’t understand people saying we will not get x, then we won’t sell him. We hold all the cards he’s less than 12 months into his contract and if it’s rumoured there’s about five clubs wanting him. Aye we will just accept 50p mix up 😂
Why would City be interested?
Probably an upgrade on Trafford Donna won’t be around for long probably end up back to Italy in a year or so and roefs has all the qualities they like in a keeper.

Man City have got Donnaruma and Trafford so there's no need for them to come in for him.

Liverpool
Chelsea
Real Madrid
Bayern

Should all be looking at him.

We're in trouble if we started next season with Ellborg in goal.
Trafford might be wanting more first team minutes to get back into the England set up.

This is another reason why our recruitment was probably one of the best ever in the premier league for a newly promoted side.

Not only did we get all these youngsters who are mostly doing fantastic, but we got them all on long term deals.

They basically all signed a five year deal so have four years left. We stay up (basically guaranteed) and we hold all of the cards when it comes to selling them.

He'll likely leave Trafford but Roefs isn't going to go somewhere to sit on the bench you wouldn't think.

I think he is harshly underrated on here. If he came in for Patterson and we beat Leeds and the Mags, people would love the fella.

We got spoilt with Roefs as he is just superb, but Ellborg could be a very good keeper for us

Ellborg has got a lot to learn tho, and you don't get a lot of time to do that in the PL as a No.1 GK.

Roefs has saved us a lot of points this season, and his absence has been telling when he's not between the sticks.

We need a commanding No.1 if we are to sell him, which Ellborg isn't at this moment. I'd be inclined to turn down any offers for another season and see how Ellborg progresses in that time.

I reckon none of the top players will leave. Teams will want to see if that can do it second season.

He hasnt played enough games for anyone to be underrating him.

This. I know keepers generally don't go for stupid money but in Roefs I genuinely believe he'll be the world's best keeper soon.

60mil is not enough.
Chelsea desperately need a good keeper and i’ve been saying for months to me mates it’ll probs be them who gan for him. I’d defo hold out for as much as possible and i reckon the board will too.

Roefs has been sensational and I really hope we can keep him.

But £60m would be sensational business and it would free us up to spend a hell of a lot more than that this summer.

Selling one big player a summer is the most effective model to allow us to keep building.

In theory, you could go and pay £20-30m for Rushworth/Trafford (who would also be homegrown) and only £4-5m would count towards the amortisation on the finances, whilst £50m+ or the Roefs sale would count towards the profits.
