I've been of the opinion for quite a while that Featherstones appointment was Raj's two fingers to everyone. He knew he had a buyer lined up, and Fevs was Raj having a shit on the carpet on his way out.

Nah, Raj was just forever crap at appointing managers. Got lucky once with Challinor and that's it. Thankfully for him Featherstone was competent enough to keep Pools comfortably out of trouble while he slunk away.

Looks like it's Cattermole. What a massively underwhelming appointment that in no way is different to the profile of NF in which the club said they didn't want.
Some will throw "they need to start somewhere" at me which is fair comment, however this job is not for a newbie as we saw with NF, we need someone who is experienced/knows the league.
I know Matt Hamshaw turned Pools down, but can't really envisage the application pool was much to shout about if we are appointing Lee Cattermole. It certainly won't get people rushing to buy season tickets.

I hope he does a great job, but if NF didn't fit the profile (the words of the club not me), I'm at a loss as to how Cattermole does.
Just massively underwhelming but shows the state the club is in, it's not an attractive proposition for an experienced manager given recent turbulent times.
Not gone down well with the fans either. Just got to hope it works but wow massively disappointing. Singh would be slated for this
