Hartlepool United


Quite pleased that game is off today. Gives the club a couple of weeks to settle down & get stuck into two home games. Do have to question why the game wasn't called off yesterday with the pending forecast to get even colder. Anyway still unbeaten this year, can't grumble

You always remember the long distance postponed games 😉.....got to Morecambe once, & that was called off for a waterlogged pitch, & on our way to Blyth spartans for an FA Trophy game, and that got called off when we were around Scotch corner 🤦‍♂️
 
Stelling on Twitter saying that the new owner will be at the Altrincham game. It’s very rare for a Pools game to be postponed for adverse weather conditions but the club will go all out to make sure that this match is on. There’s sure to be a bigger than normal crowd who will want to welcome the new owner, PTID.
 
Companies House now has Landon Smith as the sole director of the club now.

So not just Singh gone but Pearson as well.

Four nil defeat for our first game under new ownership.

I dont think anyone was expecting a quick fix but we could do with two or three decent signings.

On a different note, Crystal Palace were on the wrong end of a giant killing in the FA Cup today.

Reminds me of this game 33 years ago...

Seriously need to get a proper manager in now. If the club want to be taken seriously they need rid of Featherstone & Dickman, they aren't next level management in fact they aren't National League level & have 1 way of playing with no Plan B. Got to be the first priority for the new owner

4-0 FT....Played whole of the second half with ten men......At least Pools will not go down but unfortunately Poolies can count this Season over.

Hope Landon Smith invests in a Real Team and Management for the 2026-2027 Season.....Maybe entice Darrell Clarke to Manage Pools......This Division is a Bugger to get out of, especially as only two go up......Good Teams like York, Carlisle, Rochdale and Forest Green,,,at least 2 of them will miss out on promotion this year.
