Hartlepool United

Done York a MASSIVE favour
I think Rochdale did York a massive favour. Never known a side to be so negative chasing a league title. Still baffled by their tactics today. Bloody awful game to watch
Big summer ahead for Pools. I hope they get the changes required
First thing has to be getting rid of Featherstone, he's absolutely dire. It's inexcusable to keep setting up at home like this, it's dire to watch absolutely soul destroying. Glad only two games left and again at times the crowd were jeering/booing the negative tactics/passing backwards constantly. If he's not replaced, they'll get a huge shock with season ticket renewals

Just been told that Micky Barron said on commentary that he expects Featherstone to still be in charge next season.

WTF?

Bizarre game yesterday, Rochdale were bang average. For a side that is going for automatic promotion you would think they would have played with more intensity & have us on the back foot. Pools looked quite comfortable against them & had some nice passing spells but unfortunately without causing their keeper too many problems. The game actually seemed like a pre season friendly in glorious weather.

As an aside, heard rumours that Landon wouldn’t be throwing money at Pools so it looks to me like NF will be in charge next season but as I say, it’s rumours.

Given how much we camped out defending again yesterday, we should be comfortable against anyone in this league, it was bloody awful. I'd expect a clean sheet every game setting up like that in such a poor league.

NF as manager next season will plummet season ticket sales and pay on the gate sales.

I'll be honest I think it's had it's day.

Can't imagine many will be going, I think most will just be happy to see the end of this season and hope we have a new manager for next season.

Had some cracking fancy dress away games over the years, but it certainly doesn't have the appeal/humour it once had.

That looks like an attack minded team there (on paper at least). McNally back on the bench too, come on Pools, let’s finish the season strongly!
