Haaland alleged wage

These clubs are causing hyper inflation? Have you not heard of something called Supply and Demand?
Of course I have. City pay 900k a week for a star player. That puts pressure on their rivals to keep up and trickles all the way down. Its not healthy for football for state owned clubs paying such money for players. The mags will be be doing it themselves before long.

I find it quite strange how many safc fans seem to.be defending the obscene spending of state owned clubs. Don't get it at all.
Honestly don’t think it’s the oil states issue mate. It’s poor governance in football.

Plenty of clubs are are abusing the system through financial loopholes.

Just becomes more and more apparent with larger sums involved

Not advocating it btw
Governance should be tighter. But it's undeniable oil state are able to flout current rules more than other clubs.

There are a multitude of reasons why state owned football clubs are shite and bad for football. Not sure why anyone would support their presence other than fans of the 3 relevant teams.

How is undeniable that they can flout it. They bend the same rules as everyone else.

As I said it’s the system that is broken.

I don’t support any of it, nor the billionaire owners. Football has been fucked for a long time

They inflate sponsorship deals in a way other clubs can't. They've tried to put rules in to stop it, but they'll be almost impossible to police.

The system isn't right. That it allows state owned clubs is one of its biggest flaws.

They got him for nowt really 70m probably worth 200+ , it's just transfer money

He'll be limited company, won't pay much tax
he cant be...football rules require players to be employees because if they are a company that would be third party ownership..
they can have a company fir image rights etc..but have to be PAYE for the club they play for
