Greenwood's future

In the Richard Arnold's open letter to fans, it says this

While we were unable to access certain evidence for reasons we respect, the evidence we did collate led us to conclude that Mason did not commit the acts he was charged with. I am restricted as to what I can say for legal reasons, including the alleged victim's ongoing right to anonymity, but I am able to share the following with you which should give you some insight into the complexity of this case.

• The alleged victim requested the police to drop their investigation in April 2022.

• We were provided with alternative explanations for the audio recording, which was a short excerpt from a much longer recording, and for the images posted online.

• The alleged victim's family participated in the process and were given the opportunity to review and correct our factual findings.

I think if he wants to play football again (which I hope he doesnt....) we need to know what the alternative explanations are.
 
No way we would want him at Newcastle, regardless of what some on here think. He's a little woman-beating bastard who can go and peddle his bullshit somewhere else.

I don't really have any sympathy for the girlfriend, either - she's still with him (never left apparently) She knows what she's getting into, and he will beat her again.

How can they say that? Are Manchester United qualified to pass judgement on evidence and crimes?

I suggest you read up on domestic abuse and how this is a common theme, even for those who aren't with wealthy partners.

There's also the fact that reading between the lines, her family were heavily involved in getting the charges dropped.

I’m almost certain if there genuinely was one they’d have made sure it found its way into the public domain and not have made the decision they have today

Even if the club has finally reached the correct outcome, if that statement is the club's response to the public reaction to their initial plans to reintroduce him into the squad then Richard Arnold should follow Greenwood out of the door.

We've considered all the facts but the woke mob won't lend us an ear, essentially.
