Grayson the worst appointment ever

Moyes well and truly destroyed this club, he brought in terrible players, wasted our last chance at funds. He announced relegation in his first interview and claimed he wasn't as good as BSA. He sucked any little fight from the players and all the passion from the supporters. Playing terrible football, he bored everyone into apathy, accepting relegation long before it was confirmed and accepting that we won't come back up. We have to remember this year is to try and tread water as we balance books, hopefully Grayson can turn what Moyes left around, his additions are our best players after all.

Just like he did at Sociedad & upto a point Man Utd

the pool of people wanting the job is likelyto be less now than it was in the summer you would imagine
You think so? I preferred your Pixie Lott posts to be honest.

Actually the pool of interested parties probably hasn’t shrunk, it’ll just be made up of candidates of a lesser stature. There’ll be managers out there of lower division sides who wouldn’t have thought they’d be considered a while ago, but now realise we’re the equivalent of the lonely drunk wifey at the Christmas party and likely to take on anyone who spins them a few lines.

I'll reserve judgement until Christmas, it's not looking good and the signing of Vaughan looks like it is backfired. McGeady, Williams, Grabban and McMannaman look like decent signings for this level and it's pure Sunderland that all four would be injured at the same time. We need some luck from somewhere mind.

Worst? Depends what your goals are- if you want to compete he is a disaster, if you want to cut costs, make millions in the transfer market and be a stooge so Short can makes millions - he has been a massive success.

I'm sure they'd have all been inetersted in the summer too

Totally without a f***ing clue, needs sacking asap
Depends on how many games you base it on allied to money spent and quality of player. Grayson has had virtually no money and just a few games. If that’s your criteria then who would compare at this stage? Quinny?

I reckon Bain and Short are reasonably pleased with his ability to field a team on no budget. This is a big week for him . If we don't turn it around this week then the football crisis will overshadow his cost cutting expertise

Drama queen central

Snowflake.

Constantly sacking managers is just one of the reasons we're in this mess. He's had no transfer budget, has taken over at a club where morale is rock bottom and most of his signings are out injured.

Based on all the above, sacking him 9 league games into his career here is just plain silly.

Luckily enough for you and your opinion, he won't! Welcome to League 2 though.

He hasnt made a good start.

Getting the players fit and organised is the bare essential this season and he hasnt done that.

Too early yet to get rid though plus until the ownership issue is resolved it would be pointless.

So you want us to sack (and pay off) another manager and replace him with who exactly?

Graysons teams are renowned slow starters that get stronger as the season goes on. He's a steady manager at this level which is the best we can hope for when we couldn't even attract a manger from the Scottish league and deserves more than 9 games to prove himself.

Yes and someone with balls.....He isn't up to the job.

Grayson would not shy away from the bleak picture on Wearside.

He said: “It is a low point at this moment in time. We have lost another game. We want to make it better for everyone connected to this club.

“No club is too big to go down. You’ve had Man City, Leeds, Forest – big teams who have gone down into League One. “I have to be realistic,” added Grayson

So who would you go for then?

Constantly sacking managers kept us up
Stopping sacking them took us down
