Tbf I don't think any manager in the world could turn Sunderland around with the infrastructure/uncertainity we have in place at the moment. Toxic is the word I'd use to describe SAFC. Very sad and can't see it getting better till Short is gone and a fresh start.

Been a long cheerless summer as usual

That's exactly how it is. It's depressing as fuck but it's the state we are in.

As depressing at it is, that’s the reality as I see it. Now Grayson hasn’t covered himself with glory thus far but we know he started slow at Preston and did well there from their perspective and Leeds fans still rate him.

As there is no viable alternative right now we have no choice but to back him as supporters and get behind the lads on match day.

Moyes well and truly destroyed this club, he brought in terrible players, wasted our last chance at funds. He announced relegation in his first interview and claimed he wasn't as good as BSA. He sucked any little fight from the players and all the passion from the supporters. Playing terrible football, he bored everyone into apathy, accepting relegation long before it was confirmed and accepting that we won't come back up. We have to remember this year is to try and tread water as we balance books, hopefully Grayson can turn what Moyes left around, his additions are our best players after all.
