I'm not saying it is but it just seems at the moment he's talking a good game like the rest of them have. I'm hoping like every fan that he backs up what he says but at the moment I'm not seeing it.

I am being realistic when i say i expect absolutly nowt from this season. The players we have brought in are at about our level.
We cant splash the cash this summer because if we dont go straight up we will be in the same hole Villa are in this summer due to the strict FFP rules in the championship. (Not Ellis's imaginary ones in the Prem).
A manager always learns more or should do from a bad defeat than seeing us win every pre season friendly.
So What are you expecting from this season.

I believe he will. His post match comments are far more direct than those of his predecessors.

I'd love to say play offs but that's me being optimistic. I still think were a top 10 side in the championship.
 
We won't be splashing cash in any subsequent season either without new owners imo

We got relegated with shit points, we already knew that. The new bloke will be learning every day about the players, today probably made his mind up about some of them.

Don't try and deflect your childish, and defeatist comment back at me, if you have watched football, you should know pre season throws up these type of results, especially when a new manager is assessing his squad's ability, and commitment.
Bad result today, but I bet you Grayson knows a hell of a lot more about his players after today, so let's see what comes out of this defeat before throwing in the towel before the season has bloody started.
