Graham Dilley - RIP

Picca always looked like he enjoyed his cricket. His delayed release when bowling must have been a twat for opposing batsmen and he played the cover drive with the grace of Gower.

RIP.

RIP Graham.

I'll never forget that test. One of the most gripping sporting duels of all time.

He also took a catch that came down with snow on it late in the game I remember.

A very decent cricketer and could be really fast on his day.

But what an awful loss for his family. 52 FFS.

RIP Graham. Very sad.

Headingley 1981, if it wasn't for his 56, Ian Botham would be just another cricketer.

RIP Graham Dilley..........very sad news

A very important innings from Dilley for sure. Without it, history would probably be different as England would have gone 2-0 down.

But Botham was already a top player before 1981.

Not in the slightest as Botham did a lot of amazing things in his test career including a spell of 5-1 in the final test of that series...

Didnt know about this until I read the free paper in Macdonalds yesterday

Very sudden and very sad at such a young age..

Sorry to be pedantic(I can't help it) but Botham's 5-1 was in the 4th Test at Edgbaston.
