Sad news, remember him for his bizarre bowling action, seemed to wait on his back foot for a time before delivering.

Sad news about Graham Dilley passing away. Spoke to him a few times about bowling and was a lovely man. Real shame

Couple more twitter tributes, seems he was really well regarded by everyone in the cricketing world who met him.

Extremely sad news about Graham Dilley. I remember making the long journey as a youngster just to be coached by him #asheshero

RIP Dill. Great player and big supporter of womens cricket #asheshero

I had no idea he was such a big supporter of the women's game as well, it goes some way to explaining the rapid improvement in the women's game over the last few years.

Loved this one for the lad

:-( RIP

He was at Worcestershire just when I moved here and they went into their best spell for years with Botham, Dilley & Hick. His lad plays for Worcester Warriors rugby.

52 - Jeez man, that's no age to go

aargh that's put a dampener on the week. really sad news, tragic :-(

never seen him play, but heard he was something of an underated bowler at international level by the public.
Sad news :-(

Great bowler and a lovely bloke by all accounts.

Only 52 as well, only a year onlder than me:cry::cry:, far too young

RIP mate

Hard to believe this. I watched him bowl live a few times in the eighties, including against the mighty Windies, and boy when he got it right he was bloody fast and hostile. RIP and God bless.
