Well of course he was too far 'wide' the f***ing ball went in the goal!

If we're going down that trivial level of analysis then every keeper is at fault for every goal.

And I've played in goal since I was 7.

Quite how anyone can say either goal is only the keepers fault is beyond me.

For the second goal, I can think of many keepers that would have come for it, most would have expected a centre half to deal with it.

you can apportion some of the blame on the defenders as well. to solely blame gordon, is just stupid, unless he clearly fucked up, like a stumble, or letting the ball slip out of his hands.

he clearly did neither.
some people on here just have an agenda with gordon, its as simple as that.

I think he could have equally come for it and been too late. Defender gets no shout, he deals with it. Defender didn't, defender's fault.

it's a team game that's for sure...but since there were people on here saying Gordon couldn't be faulted for the second goal, I focussed on him....very poor keeping.

.

The idiots think he should never concede because of his price tag. Yes, may be he should have come out for the second goal today but Mignolet has made several errors like this and nobody says anything, mainly because he didn't cost much. Notice how he gets no credit for rescuing us a point today twice. Mignolet would have been lauded for his 'point winning' saves.

You haven't got the slightest clue to be fair.

exactly the reason you are wrong then, if you look very closely at my laptop screen there is a trapped pixel, its obviously the fault of the directors at dell.

Focus on one thing enough and you will find fault with it.

I like GC. He's my favourite. Going to miss that lad. No money received, either. Gutter!

i forgot, either every goalie plays in the prem , or the principles change when you do

plank

he's an international goalkeeper. and he's a proven premier league goalkeeper, which just happens to be the best league in the country.

you can't get any higher than this league.

and where do you play? russell foster league?

Having watched again, he's partially culpable for the 2nd goal, a keeper being assertive in that position would have been out to punch the cross but anyone blaming him for the first goal is either mental or on a wind up.

This. Absolute blameless for the 1st goal

From where I was sitting I thought Kilgallon could've done slightly better defending it (for the 2nd goal)
