Very harsh to blame him for the second goal.

It's a good ball in that Kilgallon should deal with. Unfortunately Davies had too much nous for him.
 
It was unfortunate that the first was ultimately so close to him - one of my worries about Ming - and there was the same thing. That said he pull out some fine saves, positioning was good, catching solid (when did we last see no punches into danger and no drops in a game?), distribution was a breath of fresh air and most significant perhaps - ONE game back and the team are peppering passbacks that wouldn't dare try with Mignolet.

Where was the predicted 'confidence shot' 'frightened to commit' Gordon that Dracula's fans describe? Get the contract sorted, then we have a solid keeper and a decent back up who will improve with time.

And martin, if you don't like Westwood loan him out please - no matter how it started - this freezing out does noone any good.

Yeah a picture of Monty,If a player today plays for us as many times as Monty did I may use a picture of then as my avatar;-)
Like you I'm also entitles to my opinion and I think you and Ernie are making fools of yourselves, I also think you have some kind of agenda against the lad.
Nobody has said he does not make errors of judgment or mistakes in play, But you and Ernie seem to want him to fail. Its as if you want him to cost us a few goals so you can gloat
 
Laim, I don't praise Mig either. I certainly don't come on the board saying he is anything other than average.
The bottom line is...could Craigy have dealt with the ball better. I say he could have. You guys say not. Fair enough.

His distribution was good today too and he made some smart saves.

To be honest it looked like he'd never been away from the first team. He's a quality keeper and so long as MoN is happy with his fitness, I can't see why we shouldn't be offering him an extension.

My point is compared to Monty...Gor Gor is not good enough to lace his boots..

What on earth has that got to do with anything? Do we have to judge every striker we get compared to Kevin Phillips?

even if you are right (neither goal was in the 'unsaveable' class). He decided not to immediately pass the ball to Bolton everytime, that alone sved us from defeat - as much as pouncing on the sloppy passback which Mignolet would have been easily beaten from.
