enjoyed Get Shorty (netflix, i think). Abit slow overall though the script is witty and I enjoyed Chris O'Dowd not playing a feckless Irishman for a change.
Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but I've just finished watching Shooter on Netflix. It stretches any sense of realism but was still enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first series of slow horses. Bit more slap stick than what I was expecting but still a great watch

Anyone else watched Mayor of Kings town? Found it on Paramount, Jeremy Renner as a fixer for prisoners, the police and gangs. Quite a few series, am 7 episodes in. Enjoying it but it's really brutal

Yeah it’s good. Nearing the end of S2 now. Doubt they’ll be anymore after what happened with Renner recently.
How's it jumped the shark? Usually reserved for established TV series, that went downhill, only on Season 2 with Slow Horses. Probably give Spy Among Friends a watch.
For me it's now firmly in caricature territory. E.g. there is nothing the 'IT nerd' cannot hack into, in seconds.
I won't spoil it for you, it has good reviews.

I haven't looked yet but is it even available to watch on a TV channel these days? Currently watching Cheers on Paramount+ which started way before my time but I watched repeats as a teen

Just finished spy amounst friends on itvx fantastic show gets into real detail of the Cambridge 5....proper cold war spy stuff
